Measure the whole footprint
A cat tree takes up more than its base when platforms or decorative pieces extend beyond it. Compare the stated dimensions with the space you have, including nearby doors and walkways. Consider where a cat already likes to watch the room. A beautiful shape is easier to enjoy when you are not constantly moving around it.
Look at the route upward
Platform spacing and entry openings can matter as much as overall height. Check official photographs and measurements for the model and option you are buying. Think about your cat's age and mobility, and look for the stated load guidance. We cannot infer stability or suitability for every cat from a photograph alone.
Plan for assembly and care
Read the assembly requirements, anchoring instructions and care guidance before ordering. If several cats share the space, consider the number and size of usable resting places rather than counting decorative elements. Confirm what is included and what can be replaced later. Seasonal or sculptural details can make the piece enjoyable, but access, placement and upkeep should lead the choice.
